Moelyci Environmental Centre Ltd is a co-operative of local people, based at the 360 acre Moelyci Farm at Tregarth in Gwynedd.

The farm supports a network of sustainable land-based projects which employ 12 people, including conservation training, green waste composting, timber recycling, community allotments, organic market gardening and work placements for unemployed people.

Moelyci provides environment-based training and education services to a wide spectrum of individuals and organisations.

Environmental Achievements

• Implemented a range of projects covering timber recycling and green waste collection
• Delivered a wide range of conservation and biodiversity courses
• Volunteers supported an extensive biodiversity assessment for the 142 hectares estate
