Kronospan is the largest wood-panel manufacturer in the United Kingdom and is part of the largest global wood-panel manufacturing group. The company supplies MDF and Chipboard into the furniture and construction markets.

The company is a rural business providing direct employment to over 600 people as well as supporting rural suppliers in the forestry, sawmilling and haulage industries.
