Kingspan Insulated Panels, part of the Kingspan Group Plc, designs and manufactures insulated roof, wall and façade systems for the construction industry. Kingspan Insulated Panels' North Wales site in Holywell employs 422 people and serves markets throughout Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

Environmental Achievements

• Recycling at Holywell site is up 25 tonnes a month mainly due to use of 13 bailing machines on site. In addition, offering a take-back scheme to recycle packaging from clients.
• Initial saving of £14,000 has been made through compressed air surveys, with a predicted saving of £50,000 in total estimated through energy reductions.
• Change of formulation to more environmentally sound & sustainable insulation core which allowed Kingspan to achieve a Green Guide 'A' rating through independent verification from the BRE (Building Research Establishment).
