International Safety Components Ltd specialises in the design, development and manufacture of innovative engineered components and other 'solutions in metal'. ISC supplies product globally to the industrial safety market, as well as other specialist industries such as fire & rescue, military and motor racing. The factory on the Llandygai Industrial Estate, Bangor, has a CNC machine shop, aluminium foundry and metal finishing facility, and employs 71 staff.

Environmental Achievements

• Water use in metal finishing reduced by £1500 in water cost and £1700 in sewerage charges with the installation of a settling tank
• Scrap aluminium recycling is offset against new raw materials purchase saving £2500 annually
• Aluminium swarf is recycled generating £6000 per annum
