Cambrian Printers, based in Llanbadern Aberystwyth, is a family owned business and has been in the printing trade since its inception in 1860, moving from its roots in newspaper production to printing books, catalogues, journals and other commercial products. The company employs 100 staff.

Environmental Achievements

• 80% savings on lighting costs by replacing 400 ballast tubes
• Installed central vacuum system replacing 14 compressors and saving 123,000 KWh
• Increased efficiency of equipment to give a power factor of 0.97 (ie fewer losses in the system)
