The Trust, which employs around 6,800 staff, manages a comprehensive range of integrated hospital and community services for the 300,000 residents living in the county boroughs of Neath Port Talbot, Bridgend and the Western Vale of Glamorgan. Neath Port Talbot Hospital provides acute and mental health hospital services to the west of the Trust's catchment area and acute district general hospital services are provided at the Princess of Wales Hospital for the communities of Bridgend and the Western Vale of Glamorgan.

Environmental Achievements

• £40,000 and nearly 18,000m3 savings achieved through water management controls.
• Reduction in gas consumption of 5.1% following the installation of three Fuel+ systems equating to savings of 130 tonnes CO2 and £10,250 per year.
• Rainwater harvesting system supplies water to 27 toilets saving, on average, 600m3 of potable water.
