Company Profile

Watermeadow fishery provides leisure fishing for able and disabled anglers.  Improvements have been carried out to accommodate this, such as constructing fine double casting platforms, two of which are for use by disabled anglers. 

Tuition is provided with the aim of educating as many people as possible about the techniques of fishing and also to appreciate and respect the countryside and its wildlife.

The company is involved and concerned about recycling and sustainability and incorporates these concerns into business practices.

Achievements

• Achieved Green Dragon Environmental Standard® Level 2
• A grey water system is used to water the grounds and a sustainable wood source is maintained to fuel a wood burner.
• Recycle all organic waste in a wormery, producing top grade compost and worms for sale on the angling market.

Future Plans

• Work towards Level 3 Green Dragon
• Investigate the installation of renewable energy including solar panels and a wind turbine
