WD Turner is a prominent construction company based in Cardiff, with 150 staff and a turnover of £70m.
Initially founded by Ephraim Turner and his sons in 1885, Turner built many of Cardiff’s principal buildings, including: David Morgan’s Department Store, The Hayes, City Hall and Law Courts and also Swansea’s Guildhall.
In the 1990’s Turner joined Willmott Dixon Ltd, a privately owned national building contractor with a combined turnover of £400m.
WD Turner is committed to undertaking all of its operations on a more sustainable basis.

- Introduced eKPIs on all projects
- Commenced a waste action programme
- Instrumental in the design / construction of more environmentally friendly buildings in Wales, including designing an eco-cabin
