Sigma is an exhibition and display system and graphics manufacturer, supplying graphics and displays to a whole cross section of industries and clients throughout the UK.
The company has grown from employing 2 people to 10 in the last 4 years and is now a medium sized company for our industry.
Our staff are committed to creating a more sustainable organisation and are aware of current environmental and global issues affecting our future. From this, staff incorporate the principles of sustainability into all areas of the business.
Achievements
- Achieved Green Dragon Environmental Standard® Level 4
- 39 % reduction in waste and 41% reduction in electrical energy per employee over the last 12 months
- Produced a 98% recyclable display and exhibition unit solution thereby reducing plastic waste to less than 1 % (by weight)
Future Plans
- Work towards Green Dragon Level 5 (assessment within the next 2 months)
- Continue awareness raising with clients and staff in the use of sustainable materials to provide economically and sustainable displays
- Develop more sustainable products and solutions
