Prince’s Gate Spring Water, located in Pembrokeshire, was established in 1991, as part of a farming diversification project.  The company employs in excess of 40 people local to the area, and is one of the Top 10 UK bottled water manufacturers. The company boasts a wide portfolio of products in still, sparkling and flavoured variants, and supplies retailers and customers such as Sainsbury’s, Asda and Stenaline.

At the heart of the company ethos is commitment to sustainability – both in terms of long-term commercial success and ecologically sound manufacturing processes. Prince’s Gate Spring Water is drawn from organic land, and is situated on a Tir Gofal catchment.

Achievements

  • Achieved Green Dragon Level 3 and implemented bio-diversification
  • Offset CO2 via bio-diesel, renewable electricity and planting of indigenous broadleaves
  • Reduction of waste to landfill by 35% thought on-site plastic and card compactors and recycling

Future Plans

  • Green Dragon Levels 4 & 5
  • Renewable water – including recycled PET, labels & caps
  • Continue bio-diversity plan with Tir Gofal – a further 3ha tree planting
