Euro Quality Coatings Limited (EQC) is an established powder coating applicator situated in Wentloog, Cardiff serving a wide variety of industries including automotive, architectural, rail, road, retail, leisure, electronics, office furniture and domestic appliances.

Initially founded in 1994 to accommodate the requirements of the Japanese consumer electronics market, EQC has evolved, expanding into high quality automotive and architectural work and has gained many quality approvals and accolades.

EQC recognise that environmental concerns are an integral part of its business, and its management is committed to the environment.

Achievements

• Achieved Green Dragon Environmental Standard ® Level 5
• Waste to landfill reduced by 50%
• Continual improvements in reducing CO₂ emissions and consumption of gas, electricity and water
• A turnover growth of 5% and 3% in production uptime

Future Plans

• Conversion to a non-chrome pretreatment process making our pretreatment process for non-ferrous materials one of the ‘greenest’ in Europe
• Reduce the amount of hazardous and general waste going to landfill 
• Encourage and improve environmental awareness with our own staff and suppliers
