Dyfi Discoveries is a small family business running heritage and wildlife boat trips aboard a 10m RIB. Our aim is to provide top quality professionally guided tours, raising customer’s awareness about the rich history and unique environment in and around Aberdyfi, which includes at least 6 different types of nature reserve.

We have recently established a shop within our booking office, specialising in Fair Trade and recycled crafts and gifts. From the outset we have been fully committed to sustainability and aim to incorporate it into as many areas of the business as possible.

  • Achieved Green Dragon Environmental Standard ® Level 2
  • Raised customer awareness about local environment & issues

Future Plans

  • To source Green or Carbon Neutral energy for shop
  • Use environmental graphic design and printing services
  • Develop customer awareness programme
  • Investigate certification to higher Green Dragon Levels
