Antur Waunfawr is a community enterprise established in 1984 to provide work opportunities for adults with learning disabilities.

Currently employing 47 people, the company has always had an environmental focus, from the early days renovating disused buildings to the current strategic recycling partnership with Cyngor Gwynedd.

Achievements

• Opened an environmentally-friendly purpose built home for our furniture scheme
• Attracted 5000+ visitors to Antur’s 7.5 acre nature park, gardens, and café
• Established a Materials Recycling Facility with Cyngor Gwynedd

Future Plans

• Work towards Green Dragon Level Standard® 2 certification
• Appointment of an Accreditation Officer
• Work to increase recycling tonnage by a further 20%
