The winner of the Wales Environment Awards 2003 was Isringhausen GB
Isringhausen GB were overall winners of the Wales Environment Awards 2003.
Isringhausen were just one of thirteen winners of awards at a prestigious ceremony staged simultaneously in Ewloe, North Wales and Cardiff South Wales.
The coveted Wales Environment Awards showcases a wide range of environmental best practice in business and other organisations across Wales.
First Minister Rhodri Morgan said: “In Wales we have established a lead role in the pressing and most important world issue of sustainability. The Wales Environment Awards is one way in which we can celebrate success and showcase environmental and sustainability best practice”.
This year we expanded the number of award categories from seven to twelve. This has enabled us to focus more on the individual aspects of best practice within an organisation's overall environmental performance and also to showcase more successful businesses.
