Environmental / Sustainability Education Award
This award is for organisations that have provided information and/or advice on environmental or sustainability issues to their customers or others outside their organisation to enable them to take action to improve their impacts at home or at work.
There must be a significant element in the provision of the information that does not involve using the organisation’s products or services. Material intended purely as marketing for a specific product or service does not qualify.
Publically-funded environmental awareness programmes do not qualify.
Examples of organisations that might apply for this category:

A waste management company that promotes recycling but also provides extensive information on how customers can minimise waste at source.
A retail company that advises its customers on recycling etc
